How does drift detection work?
When you leave the app during a session, Observatory notes the time you were away as a drift and sends a gentle reminder. Drift time is never counted as focus.
My session didn't count. Why?
Only time with the app open on your task counts as focus. Time paused or away is shown separately. If something looks wrong, email us with the date and time of the session.
How do I restore a purchase on a new phone?
Open the You tab, tap Premium, then Restore purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.
How do I cancel Premium?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and cancel Observatory. You keep access until the end of the current period.
How do I delete my account and data?
Email observatoryapp2026@gmail.com from the address on your account and we'll delete it. See the privacy policy for what we keep and for how long.
Is there an Android or Mac version?
Not yet. Observatory is iPhone only for now.
