Focus that tells the truth.

A calm timer for deep work on iPhone. One task, one session. Time you paused or drifted is shown to you, never counted.

A Tuesday, as the app would record it. Example data.

Only what you earned is counted.

Start a session on one task and stay with it. If you pause, that is a pause. If you leave for another app, that is a drift, and a quiet reminder invites you back. Both are recorded so you can see how your sessions really run. Neither is ever added to your focus time.

Over the weeks it notices when you focus best, which days run deepest and how long your sessions really last, and says so in plain sentences. When there is not enough data to say something, it says that instead.

Everything it does

A focus session in the Tide theme, 21 minutes in
A session in the Tide theme.

Somewhere calm to work.

Five focus themes for the session screen, each moving quietly while you work, and a set of backdrops for Home. No confetti.

A session in the Void theme
VoidA calm ground and the time.
TideWaves rolling in under a dusk sky.
HearthA fire burning in the hearth.
NightfallA village under the stars, its windows lit.
ForestRain falling over the pines.

Each scene moves quietly while you work. Clips from the app, from a test account.

Patterns, in plain words.

Every sentence rests on your own sessions, and tells you how many.

Screens are from a test account.

You might be wondering.

Is it a Pomodoro timer?

No. A session is open-ended and tied to one task. Work for as long as the task needs, then stop.

What happens if I leave the app?

Observatory notes a drift and sends one quiet reminder. The time away is shown to you, and never added to your focus total.

Does it block other apps?

No. It measures rather than restricts. If you want a blocker, this is not one.
